ELLEN'S A-LIST

So this morning I was watching the debut of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and I thought: "Now I have a reason not to go to work." Actually, I can think of many reasons. But this one was dressed in pink and white and told jokes. The sensation was something like a daytime Letterman talk show for girlie girls. Well, almost. And Ellen got Jennifer Aniston to come say hello. (See the video, ignore the text.) Anyway, it was more entertaining than "Today," the morning marathon that led into it. Has anybody noticed how boring "Today" has become? If Katie Couric gets any more manicured she'll resemble the wax figure of her at Madame Tussaud on 42nd Street. (OK, they don't have a Katie effigy ... yet.)
