I saw a similar thing (with two Creed songs, maybe?) a few years ago and was disappointed but not surprised.

Prediction: Every other kind of obnoxious pop music from the first decade of the 21st century will someday enjoy a period of only-half-ironic revival, revealing valuable qualities we maybe didn't perceive at the time, EXCEPT this kind.

Wish I could have experienced that before the file went offline. I, too, get shit for my affection for hard rock. But there are many times -- say in the car, in the gym -- when Buckcherry, Slayer, and early Metallica easily beat my regular "art" listening.
