About Mulenga Kapwepwe

Mulenga Kapwepwe is a co-chair and faculty member of the Salzburg Global Forum for You Cultural Leaders. She is the chairperson of the National Arts Council of Zambia. She also worked as a technical advisor to the European Union on the Zambia Sector Support Program and has been a member of the UNESCO Board of Zambia for the past six years. She has worked as policy and technical advisor to the Zambian government on policies related to the cultural sector. She is currently a consultant to UNESCO on the Convention of Intangible Heritage (Zambia). Ms. Kapwepwe writes short stories and plays and produces educational materials. She has also produced videos, and television and radio programs.
