Now it gets interesting.

This just in from Twitter feed of Washington Business Journal‘s Rebecca Cooper:

A Save the Corcoran source tells me that those allowed by the judge to intervene in the case are eight students and one faculty member.

CORRECTION: The D.C. Attorney General’s office has now informed me that “the Court granted the motion to intervene as to 7 current students, one current faculty and one current staff member. The motion was denied as to the other individuals and as to Save the Corcoran as an organization.

It looks like I was wrong the courtroom drama is on.

UPDATE: According to an email to me from a Save the Corcoran representative, here’s the July 28-31 schedule of hearings before Judge Okun on the cy près case:

Monday, 2-4:45 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m.–4:45 p.m.; Thursday, 10.a.m.-3 p.m. It will be in Moultrie Courthouse—Room 317, 500 Indiana Ave. NW.
