    Helene Kaplan
    A transplanted New Yorker, I am an audience member who was reared in the traditional forms of the classical arts, and I rely on On the Boards to guide me through the contemporary forms.

    KT Niehoff
    KT Niehoff is this artistic director of Lingo dancetheater, a Seattle based interdisciplinary performing ensemble established in 1997. Since its inception, Lingo has performed throughout the U.S. and internationally in Canada, Japan, Ecuador and Cuba.

    Most notable North American performances include Jacob's Pillow Inside/Out dance festival in Massachusetts, Vanderbilt University in Nashville, The Southern Theater in Minneapolis, The Evergreen State College in Olympia, the west coast Bagnolet Festival in Los Angeles, On the Boards in Seattle, among others. The group has received funding from The National Dance Project, Meet the Composer, Arts International and KT was an Artist Trust fellow in 2002.

    KT is also co-director and co-founder of Velocity Dance Center in Seattle. She has taught technique, composition and improvisation for the better part of a decade at institutions including The School for New Dance Development (Amsterdam), The Hong Kong Academy of the Performing Arts, Estudio 3 (Madrid), Dance Space Center (NYC), The Muse Ballet School (Osaka, Japan), Cornish College of the Arts, New York University, Tisch School of the Arts and Oberlin College. From 1993-1996 she was the co-founder and co-editor of the Seattle dance publication, DanceNet.

    Frank Video
    Frank Video is a visual artist producing pblic art designs and artworks, site-specific installations, and film and video programs. He has received

    funding from the city, county, and state arts commissions, Artist Trust, Art Matters, Inc, and Independent Curators, Inc. Frank has served as an arts selection panelist for the National Endowment for The Arts, the city, county, and state arts commissions, Artist Trust, and the Seahawks Football Stadium. Frank produced and directed the Campaing For On The Boards video during their move from the Central District into their present facility on Queeen Anne. He served on their board from 1993 to 1997, two years as Board Secretary. Frank's latest artwork, Talking Chair, has just been installed at the corner of 23rd and S. Jackson street in teh Central District.
