Thieves Target Art For Scrap Metal
As prices go up for metals, thieves are stealing public sculptures. "Outdoor sculpture makes an inviting target because it offers large amounts of metal in a freestanding object. It's sitting there. You don't have to break into a gallery." Philadelphia Inquirer 05/21/08
