This week we debut a new blog about movies on AJ - Serious Popcorn - written by the movie critic Martha Bayles. Martha doesn't write movie reviews - she places movies in the social context, and her cultural associations make for a great read. From 1984-1990 Martha was TV and arts critic for the Wall Street Journal.  From 1994-1997 she was literary editor of the Wilson Quarterly. Now she teaches at Boston College.
